My ASUS V16 gaming laptop (i5 13th gen) starts games perfectly smooth, but after around 3–5 minutes the CPU clock speed suddenly drops hard (sometimes around 1.1 GHz), GPU usage falls from ~95% to 30–50%, and the game starts stuttering badly.

Then after some time it randomly becomes normal again:

• CPU boosts back to 3+ GHz
• GPU usage returns to 95–99%
• FPS becomes smooth again

GPU temperatures seem fine (around 60–72°C usually), so I’m confused if this is thermal throttling, power throttling, charger/power issue, or something else.

Things I noticed:

• Laptop is only around 8–10 months old

Any help would be appreciated because this is driving me insane 😭
