Second credit card suggestions
Howdy all! I have been using a discover one card for almost two years now, and I’m looking to get a second card to try to take advantage of credit better.
Current card: Discover one $6,800 limit
FICO Score: 788
Oldest account age: 1 year, 9 months
Chase 5/24 status: 1/24 (if the discover one counts)
Income: 20k (This will change soon as I graduate soon)
Average monthly spend:
Gas: 60-90
Groceries: 250
Dining: 350
Travel: 0 (this will change when income increases)
Other: 100-200
Open to business care: IDK
Purpose: Best advantage per dollar spent, cash back or miles welcome
Category spending is okay, as one day I imagine I would have cards for specific use cases, and this can be the first of multiple.
I would enjoy hearing people’s thoughts about these cards outside of just a card name, knowing a why always helps guide me in the right direction.
