Cool Things to See and Do (Schwäbisch Hall und Schwarzwaldbahn)

Cool Things to See and Do (Schwäbisch Hall und Schwarzwaldbahn)

I'm an American tourist looking at taking a trip to BW probably sometime in September or October, though preferably September. I'll probably be limited to public transportation, and plan to visit the Schwäbisch Hall area, and probably visit the area around Strasbourg in Alsace.

I'd like to visit a castle or two, and historical or nature areas/parks are a plus, though preferably not FKK because, well, I'm an American.

Obviously this is almost in the opposite direction from SH, but I've heard people mention the Schwarzwaldbahn which looks very beautiful, are there any tourist recommendations along that route as well? What would be some nice nature parks in the Schwarzwald area to look at visiting?

Offering: English | Seeking: German or French

Howdy! I’m a 24M native English speaker looking for someone who can help me practice my German or some very basic French in preparation for a euro trip I’m wanting to make later this year. I’ve been working on learning German on and off for a few years, but am basically at level 0 with French.

I’m more than happy to help with your English in whatever way is needed!

Seeking: German or French, Offering: English (US native)

I’m (23M) looking for someone who’d be able to review some of my German pronunciation/grammar etc. I’ve been learning bits and pieces online over the course of a few years but haven’t gotten real experience speaking with another person. I might be visiting Baden-Württemberg at some point so any help with local phrases/manners/etc could be helpful as well.

Alternatively I’d also welcome help with very early French pronunciation (I’ve only learned some very basic vocabulary thus far) to help me get a feel for the sounds, or else to help with basic phrases for taking a trip to France.

As for what I can offer: I’m a native English speaker from Texas and would be glad to help with English language or American culture however I can, however I am not terribly well-traveled nor am I experienced as a teacher; I would need some guidance on your part to know what you feel you need help with. I enjoy fiction writing a bit, and enjoy some older reading. I’d be quite happy to help out with English writing, vocabulary, etc. if needed!

Best Way from Strasbourg to Stuttgart?

Considering a trip to BV and was thinking of visiting Strasbourg as well, however I have no idea what cross-national travel is like between France and Germany. What would be locals’ advice? The trip would probably be around September-November if that affects anything.
