For my UK Pals— has anyone managed to be prescribed mounjaro or similar on the NHS without meeting the criteria for the Cohort 1/2 because of the IIH? for some context I have somewhat frequent LPs and I have read I may qualify despite not meeting the criteria because it could stop needing LPs and I wondered if anyone has had a similar experience or not? I can’t afford to pay for Mounjaro but I’m worried I may lose my job if I continue the way I am with my headaches and I genuinely love to work and I may be being dramatic because my boss is so kind and understanding but I dont know if my Optho Neuro can recommend the prescription or not? I have an appt on Monday and I want to know if it’s even worth pushing for… pls help!
