Just as the title says. Im not an engineer but I’m getting into soldering and every resource I use mentions using flux and says it “makes the solder flow more freely”. I just can’t picture what that means. Wouldn’t all of that flowing solder make it harder to get it to land where you want?
This was my first ever modded gba sp, I had to install new L&R buttons, I got a new IPS screen for it, connected the wire, a big high capacity battery and I had to change the power switch.
I recently took a vacation and spent a good chunk of time on flights with this thing and suddenly the game froze. It kept freezing in the same spot, then deleted my save. I tried another cartridge thinking it may have been the battery in the gba cart, but the same thing happened there. I’ve included a video, but essentially the games will always have some weird glitches then will all lock up when I transition screens either into a menu or to another area or whatever.
I read it could be a power issue, so I replaced the battery again and also the power switch. I also tried playing while plugged in, but no dice either. Please help me save my baby lol.
