Extremely anxious about a "tip only" / precum situation during ovulation window. Need reassurance.
Hey everyone, back again. Honestly, my girlfriend and I are anxious right now. Even though we’ve gotten some advice and reassurance here, we keep digging into research and it's just making us more stressed.
Here is exactly what happened on May 23rd:
We tried to have sex, but I literally couldn't fit it inside her. No matter how hard we tried, it just wouldn't go in, so we stopped completely and I ended up finishing way far away from her. The issue is, the very tip of my penis was wet (probably a mix of her fluids and my precum) and it definitely made contact with her opening before we gave up.
To make things worse, this happened right around her ovulation window.
On May 20th (3 days before this), she told me she started noticing clear, egg-white discharge, and she was feeling super hormonal/high libido. We originally thought the 20th was her peak ovulation day, but after researching, we found out egg-white mucus can actually show up 3-4 days before the egg drops, meaning her actual peak ovulation could have been right when we messed around on the 23rd.
When we tried on the 23rd, I did notice her fluids weren't totally clear anymore; a little bit of it looked kind of cloudy, thick, and sticky but it was still somewhat clear.
We are terrified that my precum at the entrance might have caused a pregnancy, especially with the timing. Right now we’re just stuck waiting for her period and counting down the days until she can take a test.
