Title: ZOWIE XL2566K - White vertical lines at 360Hz, much less noticeable at 240Hz
Hi everyone,
I’m having a strange issue with my ZOWIE XL2566K (purchased in March 2024).
About 3 days ago I suddenly noticed white vertical lines / a white band on the left side of the screen while playing CS2. The monitor has never been dropped or damaged and has always been on my desk.
Here’s what I’ve tested:
RTX 4080
Tried a different DisplayPort cable
Tried a different DisplayPort port on my GPU
At 360Hz the white lines are very noticeable.
At 240Hz they are still visible, but much less noticeable.
Text also seems slightly less sharp than before.
I unplugged the DisplayPort cable completely so the monitor showed “No Signal”, and I could still see the white lines.
Has anyone experienced this before with the XL2566K? Does this sound like a panel/TCON issue, or could it be something else?
I’ve already contacted BenQ for warranty, but I’d like to know if anyone has had the same issue.
