Roast my Power BI Report layouts and visuals
I’m currently building a multi-page Bank Churn Analysis report for my portfolio, and I’d appreciate some honest analytical feedback before I finalize it.
Project structure:
- Overview page
- Customer Analysis page (+ subpages for active, inactive, churned, and retained customers)
- Churn Analysis page
- Customer Explorer page with searchable customer-level data
- Insights & Recommendations page
Dataset:
- Synthetic banking dataset generated using Python Faker
- Around 129K customers
- Includes demographics, activity, products, balance, tenure, geography, channels, etc.
Things already implemented:
- Field parameters
- Dynamic churn driver table
- Decomposition tree
- Customer explorer/search
- Multi-page navigation
- Interaction behavior analysis
- Churn segmentation
- Dynamic visuals/measures
Current focus:
I’m not only looking for “make it prettier” feedback.
I mainly want feedback on:
- Dashboard storytelling
- Analytical depth
- Visual redundancy
- Whether the pages feel too repetitive
- Whether the separation between overview and analysis pages makes sense
- Weak visuals or analytical sections
- What would make this feel more like a real analyst project
Would appreciate blunt feedback.
Thanks.
