Spooky Nails 💅 👻

After years of nail biting in 2020 while everyone was baking bread or getting in shape I broke the nail biting habit! Now years later, lots of experimenting, trial and error, my nail art is finally good!

Also these are my natural nails and nail art using nail plates from MoYou London and Maniology!
Nail polish:
Black: MoYou London - Black Knight
Cream/white/grey: Nails Inc - Goldborne Road
Purple and Orange: Orly - Feeling Free and Yam It Up

Trying to sell to Relocate

My husband and I bought our 1 bed flat in 2020. It’s a great little place right near a train station but we want to move to Cornwall and to a bigger property. We are willing to lose some money to sell but it seems no one is buying in our area for love nor money!
We would put it on the market but we did that 2 years ago and no one even viewed it, plus there are now 2 other tenants who have put their units on the market!
We just found out today that the most we would be offered by an investor is £20,000 less than our already lowered asking price and £40,000 less than what we paid for it!
We don’t know what to do and we are feeling very hopeless that we will ever be able to get out!
If we take the investors offer we will be wiped out, nothing left to buy another property with!
What do we do? Is there any hope?

Athena in The Odyssey *Spoilers*

So before I start if you don’t want any spoilers please do not read! Even though Nolan’s film is a re-imagining of a story that is hundreds of years old 😅

My husband and I have two different but similar takes on Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey specifically when discussing the plot of Athena (which was beautifully portrayed by Zendaya and Matt Damon).

I read Athena as a manifestation of Odysseus’ guilt over the Spartan’s betrayal of Zeus’ law and when you watch the woman of Athena get killed and it cuts to the statue being destroyed, I thought it was symbolic of his faith and belief in his innate goodness being destroyed.

My husband read that scene as Odysseus watching the pillaging and horror of that night and specifically one woman being murdered and saw this as the manifestation of betrayal to the gods and his belief of himself being a good man being destroyed.

What do you think? Do you think either of us are right or did u have your own opinion?

Waitress the Musical - themed nails

Started doing nail art that matches the event I’m going to - So when seeing the amazing Waitress musical had to match!
Saw the show yesterday in Southend as it tours the UK. Was an amazing performance and the cast/crew should be so proud of the amazing work!
