How to get a deeper smoke flavor?
Been smoking meat for a few years now. Upgraded from an electric charbroil smoker that required wood chips to a camp chef smoker grill with pellets.
From the very beginning, regardless of pellets, I just cannot taste a deep smoke flavor like I could with my charbroil woodchip smoker.
Bought myself a smoke tube, filled with wood chips.. this helped a little bit but still, nothing like my trusty woodchip smoker.
Is this just a problem with pellets smokers?
I would prefer not to have to spend over 1k for the camp chef smoker with the built in smoker box. (It does sound amazing, just too costly)
