Story Description:
Ruth is scared.
She fears for her mother and sister who were left behind. She fears for her ordinary friend, Noah, who has been dragged into a world he was never meant to see. She fears the handsome, ruthless boy she dreams about. She fears for the children that are expected to fight this approaching war. Most of all, she fears she is not the Anointed One that her kind are depending on.
With a bloody battle on the horizon, Ruth must learn to wield her new powers.
