There are holes that go all the way through, we have no idea what it is and it was here when we moved in. It is inside the cabinet door under our sink. Google image reverse seach says its something to do with cargo straps but that doesn't make sense for the location its in. Thanks in advance!

Hi all! I just wanted to share my experience because i see a lot of horror stories about bartholins cysts and i had a few horror stories myself over the last few years with my own experience, but i've finally gotten some relief!
I had a recurring bartholins cysts for the last 3 years and it has been truly hellish. I had a word catheter placed 6 months ago that literally pushed out of the incision wound on its own (i cannot describe the pain), followed by an additional incision and drainage/failed lidocaine injection that completely traumatized me. The cyst did go away after the second incision and drainage but came back pretty quickly, it was not painful though (except during sex which was a huge bummer) and quite small so i left it alone for a few months until about 3 weeks ago when it came back huge and aching with avengance.
I went to the ER due to my gynecologist not having time to fit me in, at the ER they suggested placing another word catheter but i pretty much put my foot down citing medical trauma. The staff was surprisingly understanding and allowed me to advocate for myself to undergo marsupialization under twilight sedation (i told them i flat out refused to be awake for another procedure of this nature). The procedure was scheduled the following day with a vulvar health specialist and i cannot recommend it enough. The surgery was fully covered by the hospitals financial aide department (shoutout OHSU) and my surgical team was a truly amazing group of women i had full faith in.
The healing process has been a breeze compared to past experiences, i took a week and a half off from my serving job to mostly lay in bed with an icepack and take full advantage of the miracle of modern pain medication. Peeing and bathing has been a bit uncomfortable but certainly not painful, the only hitch has been a good amount of constipation from the meds but that seems to be resolving now.
Swelling is down 90% and my surgeon was seriously impressed with my healing trajectory at my 1 week post op. I feel like a brand new bitch lol.
One thing i will mention is that i have developed vaginismus from the whole ordeal, likely again due to the traumatic nature of multiple incisions in my vagina in such a short amount of time. But i am going to be starting pelvic floor physical therapy soon and it doesn't seem to be a huge concern from my care team.
I'm happy to answer any aditional questions anyone might have about this procedure! I just feel so lucky to have gotten the level of care that was provided to me and i'm hopeful that this will be the last of my troubles. I want to provide some hope to anyone like me who has been dealing with this issue for far too long. <3 good luck
