need some advice

hello, i currently own 3 iems which is the Tangzu Wan’er SG(first edition), Moondrop Chu II and the Simgot EW300. i had more but gave and sold them.

i’ve been running all of my iems through my Fifine K688 built-in dac, windows volume is at 100% and thevolume knob on the K688 is around 45%-60% depends on what i’m doing or listening to.

i was thinking if i should get a integrated dac or my Fifine K688 built-in dac is enough and just another pair of iem?

if i buy a integrated dac, my choices are
EPZ TP35 Pro - 43$
TRN Black Pearl - 25$

if i buy another pair of iem, i’m looking at the Kefine Delcie AE which is 40$

i’m kind of stuck on what i should buy next 😭

Simgot EW300 disappointing

just got my pair of ew300 today and man, i expected so much out of it but ended up being disappointed

yeah it sounds nice and all specially for music but when it comes to gaming like competitive fps games like valorant and cs, it’s ass.

the imaging/stage, depth and overall sound quality is very nice but the seperation is just ass.

when we were rotating from B site to A site i heard someone flanking from city, i was able to react to it because of the great imaging of the ew300 BUT when there’s too much going on like gunshots, grenades and utilities, it masks all of the sound cues like footsteps and i can’t hear shit.

it made me realize that this iem is overly hyped/rated. my tangzu wan’er does a better job for positional cues.

anyway i can improve this dogshit of an iem? other than tip rolling? cause i already did that and i also did try the tuning nozzles and foam that came with it but it just made it even worse.

GLSSWRKS POLARITY

hello, i bought an XL size (560x480) the Glsswrks Polarity because the STANDARD size (490x420) is quite small for me.

i can’t help but notice that the XL size’s speed and glide is way faster and the stopping power is way weaker than my standard size. why is that? they’re exactly the same glass pad, same color just different size.

now i’m torn between the two,
do i choose the STANDARD pad with the performance that i like but i have to compromise for the smaller surface
or the XL pad with the bigger surface i like but i have to compromise for the faster performance?

any help would mean a lot:)

hi i just got the glsswrks polarity on black colorway (standard size) like 2 days ago and i was wiping the pad down last night and noticed a big white dot on the bottom left side of the pad.

i tried wiping it down with a damp cloth and it won’t go away and it looked like it’s in between the layers of the pad.

anyone with a black polarity standard size, does yours have it too?

it bothers me a lot knowing theres a big white dot in my pad tho
it’s not as noticeable in camera because of the lighting but i
swear in person you’d see it right away.

i reached out on discord and their staff said that they can’t give me a replacement if it doesn’t affect performance so i yet have to try later if there would be any issues regarding this white dot.
