Grateful that my daughter also likes to cook. Tonight it's roasted leeks and marinated pork chops. It smells wonderful and I'm getting hungry!

I've been a nurse for over 40 years. It can be frustrating and overwhelming some days. Some days when a patient or family thanks me for what ive done, that's what make the bad days worth it. But I would not want to do anything else.

I'm so grateful we're finally getting some much needed rain. We've been in a drought and having wildfires break out which have been contained quickly. I can almost hear the ground sucking up the water!
