Campaign That Starts in The 9 Hells Help [DMing]
I’m working on a campaign where the players will start as lost souls in a layer of The 9 Hells. I have a couple of questions about The 9 Hells and certain campaign points.
First, I’m trying to figure out which layer to start them in, or if they should start in a line in purgatory, then go to a layer of hell.
Second, I want them to escape/leave at around level 10. Is that possible? If so, should I have them start at level 1 or higher? If not, what should I aim for?
Lastly, I’m not sure how The 9 Hells functions with players. Is it just the same as the material plane or is it different at all? Also if they die while already dead what happens?
Anyway those are most of my questions, please help 🙏
(I plan to have lots of things happen after they make it out)
