This might be a dumb question...

I will need a curettage because of a uterine polyp. My bf and i always had protected sex (condoms). I really wann to have unprotected sex for the feeling at least one time but i don't really can take hormons and we don't want kids yet. A IUD would probably make my already heavy bleeding worse so that's no Option either. I know that on my first day of the period the Chance of getting pregnant is slim but not 0. But if i have the curretage anyway wouldn't they also just remove an Embryo for the rare case i got pregnant?
