I’m a 28 year old female, married, and moved to Chicago almost two years ago. I hardly have friends here and I think I’m finally realizing how much I miss having my own girl friends.
I usually hang out with my husband and his two friends. They’re nice people and I do hang out with them maybe once or twice a month but I just don’t feel like we are on the same wavelength. Otherwise I mostly spend time with my husband which I do love but I think it’s also really nice to have your own girlfriends.
I was in Atlanta before Chicago and I went to school there. That’s where I had my best friends and life was honestly so much more happening. After moving here it was such a switch because I basically didn’t know anyone.
I miss having girls to randomly text, go get coffee with, go for walks, try new places, try something new, talk about life or just hang out without having to plan everything weeks in advance 😂
A little about me, I work full time as a data engineer. I’m Indian/South Asian. I like working out and I go to boxing classes. I LOVE going on walks and that’s probably my favorite thing about summers in Chicago. I live right downtown across from a park so I go for walks almost every day unless it’s raining.
I’ve also recently started watching a lot of stand up comedy and I’m kinda getting into it. I love music too and mostly listen to house and techno.
So yeah I’m basically looking for girl friends! And by girlfriend I mean GIRL FRIEND 😂
