Vet assistant student looking for help! Ear swab from a dog:

Hello all! I hope this is okay to post here! I am a student in a veterinary assistant program and we were doing ear swabs today! This was in a dogs ear that has been having continuous trouble and they came to our school to help us learn about how to prep a sample! The swab was taken and stained accordingly. The photos you see are on a schools microscope with power 10x/20x/40x. These little “wormy” things were ALL over the sample. None moving. Does anyone know what they could be? It stumped my teacher as well as he had never seen anything like it! This is more so for my own curiosity. Any help would really be appreciated!
