Hey, so I mostly read Morrison's Doom Patrol run along with Keith Giffen, but I knew Mento mostly from the Teen Titan comics and here and there as a character connected to Beast Boy. When I read the Keith Giffen run and saw Mento represented as essentially a SAer using his powers to force Rita Farr into a relationship with him, I was quite taken aback.

Yet I don't see a lot of pushback online at all at this characterization. It struck me as a retcon taking a somewhat jerkish character into a really dark place, but it seems like most DP fans kind of took it as is. So I guess my question is, was this really a retcon, or am I just not as aware of Steve Dayton/Mento's character enough to see where the ground was laid for all of this for a long time coming?

So I see there's a ton of burnt bootleg versions of complete Teen Titan DVDs floating around there, same with the blu-ray. Did WB ever release a complete series set that was legit?

Hey ya'll, getting into Heroclix with my son a teensy bit. No stores nearby that run events, so we're mostly just trying to play for fun with really old pieces, but I did want to pick up a starter or two for the rules. Wanted to base my choice off which of the more recent DC sets had the best Superman figure, 2024 or 2025. Can ya'll help me figure out which one is the better choice?
