FA saying I didn't want to cancel my insurance but I have recorded our conversation without their consent.
When we had our conversation, I clearly communicated my intention to cancel my insurance and our convo was voice recorded but without their consent. Now that I am still pursuing the cancellation of my insurance, they are telling me that I didn't want to cancel it based on our previous conversation that's why they would not let me cancel it. I still have the voice recording as proof but I think that recording our conversation in the first place without their consent was illegal? I don't know what to do. I have no proof other than the voice recording but I might get in trouble when I use it as my proof. Would it be better to not reveal that I recorded our previous conversation?
