Looking for native or long time New Yorkers to pose for portrait paintings

(could be you, a parent, partner, or someone you just see around)

You would be able to keep whatever I make - NO COST TO YOU AT ALL. I just want to improve my art skills and get to know folks.

Only requirements are that you:

1. Have been in nyc for a good chunk of time

What I was thinking

1. We meet somewhere you feel comfortable - a stoop, park, coffee shop, your home (if that’s not weird)
2. You sit/pose however you’d like - could be on your phone, reading, or talking
3. I’d start drawing either w charcoal, pastel, or oil paint (nontoxic solvent)
4. If you’re willing, we would have a few sessions (no problem if it’s several weeks in-between). Perfectly ok if you just do the one
5. If you like it, you keep it

Sorry if this is a weird request but again my goal is to improve as an artist and to meet people I otherwise wouldn’t have. I know there are a lot of figure studies around Brooklyn but wanted to try something different.
