Help with charging!
Hi I’m looking for some ideas, I’m traveling to a town that the closest Tesla super charger is 2 hours away. They have a number of ChargePoint, blank, and another brand chargers in this town. In anticipation, I ordered two charger adapters and set up accounts on these charging platforms. I have now stopped by two blink and three ChargePoint stations and have yet to been able to get a successful Charge. I have my credit card info and accounts set up. I just simply plug-in and the car tells me that there is no power coming from the charger, the chargers will sometimes show it is charging, but will show $0.00 until it inevitably turns red.
Do I have a setting that is off for other party chargers? I ordered two different brand adapters to try to ensure that they worked but neither one of them is working at any of these stations. I do see other cars plugged in and successfully charging, so it appears that the charging stations are working.
I did one time after buying my car borrow a charging adapter and used a charge USA station and it did work. Any ideas or help?
EDIT: useful information I left out. 2024 MXP. I’ve downloaded the apps for blink and ChargePoint but also have done tap to pay when trying to get it to work.
