I have read that the slight “ticking” is normal for these cars.

The car runs very well, and I’ve done maintenance consistently since purchase. No loud ticking as RPMs increase, just replaced the belt. No squeaks from idler pulleys or tensioner when I checked.

So am I being overly cautious, or could anything be of concern?

Finally decided to clean my throttle bodies as it sometimes felt like I had a sluggish throttle response. Look a lot cleaner than before and it might be a placebo but car does feel like it’s driving better.

Not sure if I expected it to look new but some deposits I couldn’t wipe off 😭

But did all the relearn procedures and all is running well so far

I know that the line should be aligned with the center of the three notches, but does it mean I need a new serpentine belt, tensioner, or pulleys? Or does it just need to be tightened a little more?
