Looks like the revised content is still coming in Korea!
Edit: Title: Looks like the revised content will continue to be released in Korea!
Originally, we never had an official Korean version of The Lord of the Rings LCG here, so Korean players basically had to buy the English version if they wanted to play.
Then last year, a Korean board game publisher announced that they had signed a deal with FFG to release a Korean edition of the game, and a lot of Korean board gamers and LOTR fans were really excited about it.
They already ran crowdfunding campaigns for the revised Core Set, The Dark of Mirkwood, and the Ered Mithrin cycle. Production is apparently underway right now, with delivery planned for this fall.
But after all the recent news about the game being discontinued, people here started getting pretty worried. Korean players were just starting to get into the game thanks to the localization, so if everything ended after only the Core Set and Ered Mithrin, that would've been pretty devastating...
Apparently the publisher got a ton of questions about this, so they contacted FFG directly. According to them, FFG replied that there are currently no plans to discontinue the revised content, and that the remaining expansions can still be released in Korean as well.
(Though they also said the old/non-revised content is apparently off the table)

Do you think FFG allowed this because the Korean version was a newly signed licensing deal?
And for existing versions like the English or German editions, would FFG oppose it even if the publishers wanted to make additional licensing or reprint agreements?
