Date bailed. 3 days alone in Calgary. Where to stay? What to do?

I met someone online and after a few weeks decided to book a last minute plane ticket for the long weekend thinking I was going to spend it with him at his place like we had talked about.
Well, things got pretty creepy and weird quickly since. Apparently he’s changed his mind because I’m not interested in group sex, but that seems like an excuse.
Anyway, I now have 3 days in Calgary alone! I’m flying in tonight and have no accommodations or plans.
What’s the best hotel downtown for a young professional who likes coffee shops and art?
Are there any hiking tours that would pick me up in the city and drive out to a more scenic spot?
Hoping you could help me build an itinerary!
