I hope the photos show enough, I painted my gfs car for her bday as Ive painted a few of my own cars (im no expert just a weekend warrior). I’ve only painted gloss and matte before and she to my surprise choose a metallic colour.

Can anyone help me understand what’s happened to the bonnets paint? And any tips on how to fix it without starting all over again. There’s 3 coats of the metallic colour layer down, no clear coat.
