I did it!!

Update from my previous post, to which I also posted this in the comments there:

I did it. Got there an hour early, went back and was put under around 8:30 on Tuesday morning. Woke up really really needing to pee and praying someone helped me before I peed myself. They gave me cranberry juice and I felt...off? Totally forgot the anti nausea meds before going under! Threw up four times, twice on the floor and thankfully the last two times I got it into the trashcan by the door - learn from my mistakes and speak up and get the nausea meds!!

Apparently any time they touched my uterus it bled and they had to cauterize me three or four times but I am doing surprisingly really well. I imagined coming out of surgery and being a wreck - emotional, clingy, groaning in pain. Surprisingly I was none of the above, even before starting higher end pain relief and simply on account of the Tylenol before going under.

In terms of pain, belly button incision hurts when I try and roll over to get out of bed to pee and the gas pain is sometimes okay, sometimes unbearable, only on my right side for some reason. Throat hurts on account of the tube but it is doing drastically better, albeit still there not even 24 hours postop.

Cervix, uterus and tubes are gone. Kept my ovaries and she also put a camera into my bladder to make sure I was good on that front, which, thankfully, I am. Barely spotting but peeing a LOT.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

for all the advice, love and cheer. ♡

Need advice

I (24, f) have had heavy periods and tremendous amounts of pain with them for as long as I can remember. I have used birth control and IUD's to no avail, I even get bleeding even when I use my birth control pills to skip my periods.

Currently also a mom of two under two with a hysterectomy scheduled for next month (I will be 25 then). However, now I am having severe anxiety and wondering if its just jitters or I am genuinely going to regret it if I do not have one more baby first.

I have one of each and my last pregnancy had quite a few complications - so I am also scared and wondering if I should quit while I am "ahead".

I think it is also finally hitting me that while I know it's permanent and that is the whole point I wanted it, I would regret not having one more child. Though I do feel like I am on the fence.

It will be rough for about a year or two, but I truly believe I can make it work?

Need advice from mom's with 3 under 3, women with 2 under 2 who've had hysterectomies (whether you regret it or not!), young women who've had hysterectomies (whether you regret it or not), honestly open to hearing from anybody so long as its not to shame or bash me.

Need advice

Will probably delete later out of anxiety about being judged in my personal life but here goes:

Currently have two under two and am on the verge of hysterectomy surgery (I am 25 in a few weeks). I have always had notoriously bad periods to the point this surgery could help me tremendously and give me my life back.

However, I have always wanted three kids. Is it worth doing three under three, waiting to heal again and get surgery next year when I am 26 or should I give up while I am ahead and go through with surgery next month?

I don't need the negative comments. Only looking for advice from mom's who have either had hysterectomies young (even if they regret it) and mom's of 3 under 3, please.
