The exterior is pretty much finished at this point.
There are still a few smaller details missing here and there, but it’s finally at a stage where everything feels properly walkable, most areas are filled out, and the biggest buildings have been fully decorated.
A large part of the underground sections between the different layers is also accessible now and connected through a network of tunnels.
Here’s another small update dump of what got done today.
We finished a bunch of the facades around the pier, so the entire first layer is basically done now.
My girlfriend also built a church with an organ inside, which came out super nice.
A lazaretto / field hospital was added too.
But the biggest addition is probably the new tavern called “Shipwreck”.
It’s still very much in the decoration phase, but it’s already turning out pretty damn good.
Here are a few glimpses at the current state of the pirate city that’s slowly growing on my server with a couple of friends.
First up, some overview shots around the island so you can get a feel for the scale of the whole thing.
After that, just a bunch of random screenshots I thought looked cool, plus a few looks into the underground system.
The city is packed with hidden paths, tunnels, and connected buildings that basically turned into a giant smuggler labyrinth… to the point where even I get lost in it sometimes.
A lot of it is still heavily work in progress and far from finished, but I really love how fun and natural the building system feels in this game.
(We seriously need more NPCs wandering around places like this!!)
If I ever actually finish this project (or completely lose my mental stability in the process), I’ll probably try to make a video to show off some parts of the city a bit better and/or offer the map as a download.

started building a little pirate island town.
It’s still pretty unfinished and a lot of the interiors are missing so far, but I’m really happy with the direction it’s going already. Building in here realy catches me :D
