Nissan Qashqai 2015, screen stuck in update loop

Hello,

I have a Nissan Qashqai (2015) and I have a problem with the Nissan Connect screen.

Suddenly, the screen started asking for an update. I never tried to update anything, so I don’t know why this started.

Now the system is stuck in a loop:
- The screen keeps flashing and trying to update
- Then it shows “update failed”
- After that, it starts again

I attached pictures of the problem (because I don't know how to add videos here lol)

I talked to a Nissan dealership, but they were not sure if they could fix it. They also asked for a lot of money, but they said they are not even sure they could solve the issue. I don’t want to spend a lot of money if it might not work in the end.

The screen also stayed on even when the car was off, and it drained my battery. Because of that, the Nissan dealership had to disconnect the screen.

I don’t know what to do now:

I don’t know if I can fix it with an update
I don’t know where to get the update
I don’t know if the system is broken or can be repaired
Any help would be appreciated.

Bringing a foreign car to Türkiye with a work permit

Hi guys, I’m moving to Türkiye soon as a foreigner with a work permit.

I own a car and I would really like to bring it with me to Türkiye. I already came before as a tourist with my car in Istanbul, so I’m used to the traffic and driving there.

The problem is that I’m confused about the rules for foreign-plated cars when you have a work permit. I read online that work permit holders can apparently keep their car in Türkiye for around 700+ days, but I’m not sure if that’s actually true.

I’m also unsure about the costs and the process:

Do I need to register anything online before entering Türkiye?
Do I handle everything at the border once I arrive?
What are the taxes, insurance requirements, or special permits involved?
Overall, is it worth it to come with a car?

If anyone has gone through a similar
experience or knows the current rules, I’d really appreciate your help
