Hi all,

I attended the Star Wars 2026 nite event today. It was the last of the 4 Star Wars nite events.

I admit it was not how I thought it would be. Far less people, lots of photo ops (and lines that go with them), limited unique merch and of course Star Wars snacks.

After taking in the evening (left around 11pm), I wanted to get some thoughts from others about the following:

1: Getting the wristband at 4:15 PM and getting to the merch line at 4:21 PM, I thought I was early. I wasn’t. They were probably 35 to 40 people ahead of me. I was able to get the pin, T-shirt, and sweatshirt that were exclusive too the night’s event. I’m just not so sure that standing in a line for an hour and a half while others waited far less than that and got the same items I did, was it really worth it to be there that long for people who got there early?

2: Around 8 PM I got over to the line where the Ewoks would have their photo op. Waited two hours before we got to have the photo taken. By the time we left the line was maybe a quarter of what it was when I got there. While I waited two hours, others were waiting 30 to 45 minutes. Again, is it really worth it to get there early?

3: I was able to get to Olga‘s Catania on a 35 minute standby and waited 10 minutes to get in so I can get the commemorative mug. Later that night there was no line for Olga and I could’ve just walked in. Once again, I’m just wondering if waiting for the crowd to die down as preferred in terms of saving time to do other things?

So I’m just curious, is it worth it to get to photo ops, merchandise stores or special events early when in fact the later the evening get so less people there are which results in way times half of what one might experience when they are early too a photo or merchandise purchase ?
