In Need of a Hero
Hello everyone, I'm working on a new chain concept around sending my Jumper to places that really need a Hero to save the day(The definition of a Hero in this instance is the Greek one, not the modern pansy-ass no-killing-rule brooding pussies).
At the same time I wanted to keep the stakes relatively high so I was thinking of only sending them to settings where failure comes with at least continental-level consequences/destruction/suffering if not planetary or more. You know, to better motivate the Jumper.
A sort of Chain-wide Drawback that will be used is that each Jump is an AU where things are more or less set towards a bad end situation, at least if Jumper doesn't go out of his way to tip the scales back towards a better ending.
For now I've already decided on these jumps, mostly categorized by the kinds of enemies Jumper would be there to deal with:
Demonic Invasions(Main Focus):
Doom(2016) and Doom Eternal (Potentially adding the Generic FPS Supplement to one of them), Hellgate: London, Diablo, Constantine, TES: Oblivion, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Pathfinder - Wrath of the Righteous,
Alien Invasions(Secondary Focus):
Space Invaders, Invincible, Crysis, Half-Life, Brightburn, MCU Part 1, Worm, Oblivion Movie, Pacific Rim, Mass Effect,
Other Threats(Maybe):
Wolfenstein(Nazis), Blood Rayne(Vampire Nazis), Uber(Superhuman Nazis), RWBY(Grimm), Star Wars(Probably the Force Unleashed, the Prequels, and then the Old Republic)(Sith), Kuroinu(Rapists), Mortal Kombat(dimensional assimilation), Dragon Age: Origins(Darkspawn),
Can anyone suggest other settings that would fit the theme? Given that I intend to model the Jumper quite a bit off of the Doom Slayer's personality, the more settings where I can send him to kill demons, the happier they'll be.
