In love with my first Longines - Spirit Zulu 39mm

Feels and looks great. I have a small, 6.4" wrist, and the 39mm Zulu feels great. I thought the weight might bother me, and almost went for the titanium version, but I am glad I went for the steel. I prefer this Green/Anthracite color combination, and the price. Been wearing this all day. I already have a brown leather strap and a black sailcloth strap ready to go. Zero regrets here. I work across three timezones, and often travel across four different time zones, so the travelers GMT movement is just icing on the cake.

I am an Omega and Grand Seiko fan, so I never thought I would purchase a Longines. But when I saw this watch in person at a Macys while walking around, I knew this was going to be the second watch in my collection. I already have a dress watch, so I wanted something sporty, and I wanted a GMT. When I saw the price, dimensions, and colors, it was game over. Easiest decision I have made in a long time. The GS SBGM221 just didn't make the cut this time for a lot of reasons, same for the Aqua terra. The Spirit Zulu is just crazy value for the money. The manufacture caliber, the finishing, the dial, the heritage.

Bracelet feels silky smooth. I do wish it had on-the-fly micro-adjust, but not a deal breaker because I have the Steel Reef extension link ordered and on the way. And five years from now, when the original warranty expires, I will replace the caseback medallion with an exhibition caseback.
