Hey guys, I'm a new gunowner since January. Been using my first handgun (M&P 9 2.0) at the range since January and love it. Very good first gun!

But now I want to buy my first Rifle. Looking at the S&W M&P 15 Sport III. I like the price of it, its in the S&W family and its also 5.56. But i want to hear from people more knowledgeable in that field or if there is better options.

I mostly will be using it at the range and just want something reliable to bring. I'm going to put attachments on it of course and wanna stick between the $700 to $1,100 price range as well!
