How is everyone coping with the overwhelming emotion?

My first love of anything sport, my very first team, was the 90’s Knicks. Growing up in the shadow of the 70’s title squad, living and dying with my dad, uncle, brothers, cousins, friends at every heart break.

As we sit here a few hours before tip off… I find my self so damn emotional. Thinking about the years of cheering on with loved ones now gone, the years of feeling like there was no hope for this team; how it was run, what it produced on the court.

Between this and the Mayor, I find myself so overwhelmed and proud to be a New Yorker in a way I haven’t in a really long time.

No matter what happens in the next few weeks, just jumping out here to say that I am overcome by this city, yet again, and it’s in no small part because of this team.

LETS GO KNICKS!
