This book really shows how methodical Tolkien was. You can really see how he would refine his drawings many times before sending the idea to print. Theres a whole section of the Doors Of Durin and its many proto forms.

Acquired this 2002 9th printing of the Folio set while traveling. Had it shipped back to the house. Plus I found my lost childhood all in one. 🫡🤗
I saw these in a really rad book store while traveling to see family. They also had a brand new 1997 printing of the Folio Society set that I scooped up and had shipped back to home. Plus they had a 90s korean edition set with the gold borders and a mid 70s book club edition set as well. The store is Russell Books in Victoria B.C
Finally found a copy of the jacketless Unfinished Tales plus a sweet A-Z book about Death in the Legendarium.
This deluxe edition of the biography is phenomenal for its price range. Love the minimalist feel and dust jacket. 🧥
Found a cool fantasy shop in my city, thy had a book explaining all the ring related influences in Tolkien. That and a Ring of Power 😂👀
