Just bought 16GB DDR5 RAM

Just bought this for my HP Victus 15 from 2025 which came with a single 16GB ram stick, I figured I'd buy an extra stick since I've got an empty slot and I don't think ram's gonna get any cheaper anytime soon but rather more expensive. What do you think?

Got the 3.0.302 update and it's amazing

Performance wise this is probably the best update so far, made my phone feel brand new again even though it was already working pretty nicely before, which is really something!

This is (partially) why Xiaomi's software is considered cheap

So it's been three hyperOS iterations so far and the search function is still showing in recents as a standalone app instead of just being integrated into the system launcher. This is some sloppy work if you ask me.

Choose update package feature is useless

Every time I try to update manually by downloading OTA or Recovery updates, I get a message telling me I can't install the ROM. Sometimes it gives you stupid reasons like "other reason", sometimes it just tells you it "couldn't verify package". Not ONCE has it worked for me nor anyone that I know of.

Why even add the feature? (Screenshot below after I tried to install an incremental OTA update to go from 3.0.8.0 EEA to 3.0.301 EEA on my Xiaomi 14)
