I thought I would share here as this may help some people out.

I noticed after Torbox completed their CDN updates earlier today, a lot of my links were not successfully playing in my media player app. After changing CDN multiple times with no success, I checked my Bell wifi app and noticed Torbox was automatically getting blocked by Bells “Guard” malware detection. You can safely select allow on the Torbox urls that you see here as these are false positives.

It appears Trakt is applying more restrictions as Nuvio is now appearing as a connected app. I was using Trakt inside Nuvio to scrobble and sync progress across my devices and was using Xperience to take my recommendations from Trakt and provide AI recommendations along with other Trakt catalogs specific to my account.

I have not been kicked out just yet as it says 2/1 connected apps but will likely be soon before it does kick me out.

I wanted to ask the community what the best alternative is based on users with a similar setup. I have 3 profiles in Nuvio that all had their own trakt account linked.

Would using Nuvio sync on my devices to track progress across them make sense? Then I can just enable Trakt scrobbling in Xperience?

Or is Simkl an identical or even better alternative then Trakt and Nuvio sync to transfer over to? Does Simkl allow similar tracking setup in Nuvio app where you can switch Simkl as your watch progress and library source?
