Good Brainiac Stories?

I'm pretty excited for Man of Tommorow, and with brainiac being in it I want to know more about the character. So I'm wonder what are some good superman stories with him as the main/side villian? I know there's Superman: Brainiac but I'm not sure if there's other things I need to read before that.

Waid's run to Hickman's

I've heard from a lot of people that Mark Waid's run with the ff is the best starting point for new readers, so I started that and am about halfway through it. But I really want to read Jonathan Hickman's run, and I know some other writers are between their runs, and I'm wondering if I can just skip those or if there's any I need to read.

What do I read after Secret Wars?

I just finished Hickman's whole Secret Wars saga, and I loved it, but I'm wondering what I can read now in the new universe. I bought the Black Panther premier edition book because I know that it takes place after, but I wanna read more of the other characters.

Confused about Secret wars reading order

I've started trying to read through the secret wars saga, starting at the avengers world part. I read the avengers issues 1-3 normally with the part about fighting on mars, but when I jumped in to new avengers 1-3, they started talking about incursions. I noticed that the incursions arc seems to be later, after infinity, so I'm wondering if I'm reading the wrong thing. I'm generally new to comics so help would be appreciated
