Ape miss Peak Ape Ooo AAa
IMO in 2020, monke i guess you would call it a following was at its peak; everyone was loving the monkey memes. And I feel like it's fallen off. As you can literally see, all the top posts of all time in this and all other subreddits are from 6 years ago, and I can't even find any new ones. Like, peak 2020 posts were getting 10k upvotes, and all the top ones are from then; mind you, this community is almost 20 years old; now it's a struggle to get over a thousand. I mean, shit, I got over 2k for an awful meme I made back then with the "in water monkeys will drown", and then an orangutan swimming. I'm not hating, as I still love this shit; literally ran a meme page back then for it on Instagram @ monke_mayhem if you want to see the stuff I'd make/repost. But IDK, just wanted to go on a little rant about something I was thinking about while fried.
