A south-facing sub-alpine meadow was a warm retreat for a herd of bighorn sheep. This little one is experiencing it all for the first time.
Sometimes, the Canadian Rockies remind us who is actually in charge.
This image is from a couple years ago before the Jasper Wildfire. It has been nearly a couple years since the fire and access is not permitted and will remain for for the foreseeable future. Sad.
