[serious discussion] what is the biggest letdown in Skyrim compared to its lore

for me -

  1. skyforge - skyforge being the oldest structure in all of skyrim dating back to aedra era and the creation of mortal realm it is very very massively dissapointing how they made it in game , structure is very underwhelming and doesnt hold that charm and richness of its history and no major quests around it ??

  2. ysgramor - ysgramor the first mortal king of the skyrim and the one responsible for defeating the snow elves , founding windhelm and saarthaal and commanding his captains of 500 companions to conquer all of skyrim and form holds its very disspointing how there is no major quests around ysgramor while even potema got questlines

  3. the companions - this is a very major letdown , companions were the first rulers and founders of the holds , jorrvaskr the ship of one of the captains of the companions whom ygsramor sent to across skyrim to conquer , significantlly settling down near the skyforge because its scared the elves and the jorrvasker being the ship flipped down and the first mead hall which later led to the founding of whiterun which was build entirely around jorrvaskr . the companions factons is sooo underwhelming , it should have been the biggest faction in skyrim and settlements in all the holds not just whiterun . windhelm should have been the most influential dating it history . while all we got in game is companions being the local wildlife rangers and the curse of werewolves which completely overshadowed the true pinnacle of nordic honor , martial skills and historic culture. this was such a dissapointment when i read the lore .

  4. civil war - no significant differences to the choices you make , wether you side with storm cloaks or empire and the white-gold concordat of thalmor ?

5- the nords - the nords had different practices and they worshipped different gods and not the nine divines but shor , kyne and tsun . nords being the original masters of thu'un and only ulfric knows thu'um and its a shame they burried it saying it was very dangerous so the nords banned it
