Je suis en télétravail donc je suis à la maison tout le temps. Mon chien a 7 mois il est avec moi depuis Septembre.

J'ai tout essayé mais le chien pleur et abois des que je le laisse une minute seul, ça devient insupportable car je ne peux rien faire sans que les voisins ne se peigne...

J'essaye de le laisser seul avec des durées incrementales mais aucun progrès...

I have ADHD , i forget my wallet and keys all over the place. I was just gifted airtags to help with the issue.

However I keep missing the "left behind" notification because it is not persistants or loud enough , is there any way to fix it ?

We talked with GF about having a dog for a long time, I always wanted a couch potato dog because we're not that active. For ethical reasons we didn't want to buy but went with the shelter option.

The process took forever, so deep in my mind i thought it became an "abstract project", until it wasn't and things moved very fast.

Now we have a 5 month old reactive, anxious, tornado of a shelter puppy bringing havoc on our appartement, my mental sanity and (i'm starting to believe) our relationship.

I want out, but i don't know how to do it ... i was the "dog person" .. now i'm tired, lack sleeping. We only talk about the puppy, we go nowhere because the puppy is car sick and throws up as soon as it moves, i worry that i'm starting to resent him and also resent her.

He is clearly used to having a garden access in his temporary home, now he is stuck inside with us and deeply attached and anxious.

I also worry that i'm a monster for wanting to abandon a rescue and either way this goes our relationship would suffer.

Une boite propose un role "full-remote" mais il faut venir 3 jours consécutifs sur site par mois.

Dans l'annonce c'est noté que les frais de ce déplacement sont 50% couverts par la boite.

Et je me demande sur la légalité de ce setup, car il me semble que les déplacements pro doivent étre couverts par la boite quand c'est eux qui les exigent

Avez vous déjà vu ce genre de setup ?

Les prix n'ont pas baissé, ils sont même remontés d'une dizaine de centimes depuis début juillet, mais le sujet a disparu des conversations et medias. Soit les gens ont réellement changé leurs habitudes et le plein pèse moins lourd dans le budget, soit on s'est habitués et on paie en silence.

Du coup je pose la question ici :

• vous roulez moins qu'il y a deux ou trois ans ?
• si votre usage n'a pas bougé, vous avez rogné ailleurs ou ça passe sans y penser ?

We have a very well documented and established escalation process that is meant to keep the feature teams focused, and only original and unusual support requests should reach the developers.

Everything else is meant to be well documented so that the support team can handle things.

But in practice, we're getting trivial and simple requests daily, things that can be answered by either performing literally a search on confluence or slack, or even bothering to check the customer dashboard.

When I point it out, i get labeled as not a team player, and they start throwing how much of ARR this customer is and how urgent and necessary for them to get an accurate answer.

My managers are aware and not doing anything, and i feel like i'm the only person who is being bothered by this ... I don't know what to do ...

I got promoted to staff about a year ago. I got lucky as I spent the prior couple of years on work that happened to be very visible to leadership. I have decent execution but good timing/luck more than anything.

A year in, none of what I'm actually measured on is the work that got me here.

But now I'm being evaluated with fuzzy criteria about impact and no playbook on what to do.

The core of it is cross-team impact, and it's on me to go and find where it needs to be applied. I accept that's the expectation. The problem is the company is siloed by design. Every team owns its own roadmap and priorities and has no structural reason to touch anyone else's work. So the mandate is to produce cross-team impact inside an org built to keep teams apart, and my manager is basically telling me its up to me to figure out how to make that happen.

During last review cycle, I was also told I'm not moving the needle enough, where buy-in is the issue.

It is the same thing one level down, most of what I'm supposed to drive needs sign-off from product people who sit several orgs over and a couple of levels above me in a different continent. The access just isn't there. Nothing in my day puts me in a room with these people, and the org chart doesn't route a staff IC to a director three teams over. The advice is always "go get buy-in," but I keep getting stuck a step earlier, on how you reach the people whose buy-in you need in the first place.

Mentoring is the part I actually want and like, and it's the one I can't find a use for. The team around me is already senior. Nobody's looking for an "official mentor", and I'm not going to appoint myself one to people who've been here longer than I have.

From time to time, I jump on improvised "get unstuck" sessions, but I don't know what the expectation even means when there's no junior to bring along.

I guess long stroy short: I don't know if this is a "me problem" or an "this company doesn't know what to do with staff level" problem ?

Comme dit le titre, à la dernière consultation J'ai remarqué que mon psy porte des lunettes méta rayban, l'indicateur de lumière n'est pas allumée donc à priori ça ne filme pas, mais ça m'a mis vraiment mal à l'aise...

Comment aborder le sujet sans paraître parano ?
