A friend of mine recently got "doored" while cycling, fell on his shoulder (only wearing tank top) and got a pretty nasty skin wound, messing up his shoulder / upper arm (non-irezumi) tattoo. The wound is still healing, so the extent of the damage is not fully clear. The car driver was clearly at fault.

Anyway this set us off on a discussion loop I'd like to pull you in 😅:

- In what scenario would you seek/get financial compensation for damages to your tattoo* (if any)

- Could/Did you get your tattoo insured for damages?

With tattoo, I primarily mean bodysuit/big backpieces, which for many of us are easily within the top 3 most expensive things we "own"?
