I have the opportunity to purchase a GPU off someone and wanted to know if anyone has experience with this. The seller offered to allow me to test in on my pc but outside of furmark, I don’t how to cover my bases. Want to ensure it won’t shit out on me later on.

Also, he is willing to trade GPUs as he will be only using it for school. The GPU in question: MSI VENTUS 3x OC GeForce RTX 5070 12 GB
My GPU: EVGA 3070 XC3 8GB. We would swap GPUs but, I would still need to give a cash buffer.
