I need a distro that just works, have had experience with fedora KDE and if no other better options, may go back to it.

There are no real YouTube videos or forums that really give me an idea of what to get as my distro.

My requirements are simple and non strenuous.
-Customisable, basically KDE where possible
-Stable, but not Debian stable as I do want updates
-Easy package manager to work with, Dnf or Apt preferred
-Easy install
-Decent compatibility with apps, and a decent repository
-Normal ram idle usage 6gb or lower
-NO SNAPS

System specs
-Amd Rx 9060xt
-Ryzen 7700
-32GB DDR5 6000m/ts
-2tb storage, 1.5tb (500gb with windows dual boot)
-Gigabyte B650m Gaming WiFi

Please give some decent recommendations, my skills can linger around the “beginner distro”, basically no arch and I don’t want arch based.

Ask for help I did, moderators block it, they do. r/WindowsHelp

Windows powershell, as it has to, does not do what I tell it, why isn’t there any run always option…
Naturally I would screenshot, and ask on Reddit, as searching does not work. I see Microsoft help and post a simple yet viable description title and picture.
Ai moderation on their subreddit immediately flags it, probably because I was new. I was thinking that moderation would let it through as it is a windows problem and the rules did not state anything against powershell.
I look at my phone an hour later, no dm, no message, just blocked without reason.
A windows help subreddit that does not help, typical.

At-least 1 USB a and USB c port

Linux laptop machine under £700

I’ve been looking at getting a laptop but I have no clue where to even start, first off I have heard certain laptop brands are hostile to Linux as a whole and as someone who is just starting to get into Linux I want to know what to get.
Also I am not getting a Thinkpad as I hate the look and the size of them. I only need a light laptop for video editing and light gaming since I already have a desktop.

Criteria -
AMD non-ai chips for compatibility (no copilot too)
Intergrated graphics or AMD Gpu, as long as in budget.
Refurbished / new
Matte black
Thin and Portable
1tb of storage or 512gb but upgradeable
16gb ram upgradeable
Atleast 1 usb a and usb c port
long enough battery life for a school day
Ubuntu or mint compatible (does not need pre install as long as it is easy for the laptop to work with Ubuntu or mint)
Any Form factor 14" or above
