Do major SuperCruise updates get rolled in all existing models or do you have to buy a new model year?

Is it like Tesla or a more traditional car company where major improvements are used as an incentive to buy new?

Below the regen paddle, what is the “toggle” switch?

Sorry if this is a dumb question.

How many miles did you get on original tires?

I’m at 62,000 and they still look pretty good but I’m getting a little bit of a shimmy on the steering wheel.

Unless something changes, my wife and I are on track to drive between 50,000 to 60,000 miles on our Equinox EV in the last 12 months. Great savings!!

With gas prices the way they are, the savings are significant. Planning a DIY solar project to help with additional savings.

Forward collision braking light only goes out while on Super Cruise.

I think this just started this week. I get the warning “forward collision braking not available”. When I turn on SC, the light goes out. If I switch back to adaptive cruise, the warning message and light come back on. It starts as soon as I turn the car on.

The sensors are clear. I did get a new windshield a month or so ago but I have driven thousands of miles since then.

Christians miss out on other powerful beliefs or philosophies

When I was evangelical, I believed everything outside of evangelicalism was either evil or had little personal benefit. I was not aware of the powerful teachings of Buddhism or the many other great philosophers over the millennia. I very much feel like I was cheated. Also, I was never made aware that some of Jesus teachings were not exactly original teachings.

Are you more compassionate and/or empathetic after deconstruction?

After my painful deconstruction, I feel like I am more loving and compassionate towards others. Much more open minded, forgiving, understanding etc. I also feel more focused on social justice and helping others. Not sure if it is just a desire to find purpose or perhaps it is a result of leaving behind the poison of evangelicalism???

I frequently interact with folks that would be considered progressive Christians or sometimes mainline Christians. I have noticed that even in these groups there is a desire to hold onto obviously mythical Bible stories and spin them in a way that makes them seem useful. They make it seem like that is the way the author intended. Just in the last 24 hours I saw a progressive Christian try to spin the Noah story and the Tower of Babel story into something positive…supposedly.

My thought is that they are trying to turn a sow’s ear into a silk purse, so to speak.

Just wanted to see what others think about this.

Thanks.
