Favourite paths for the New Germany Update?

Germany has finally received the love it deserves and has got a MASSIVE update. But the question is, which path is everyone going for?

There is so many, and every single possible Chancellor has the same amount of focuses in their trees, so it's not like any 1 path is favoured over any other. But then also the post-2nd weltkrieg paths are also so unique and fun, and every single leader having different potential post-wlWW2 visions of Germany is beautiful.

For me, I am pretty torn. I mainly like the look of the SPD paths, especially the sound of some of the events, and just the whole "Semi-Socialist German Empire" vision. The Soc-Libs also look extremely interesting. And then the DLVP path looks super cool too, with like the revival of the Ludendorff era Germany.

And then the post-WW2 routes I like especially are the Dual Emperor path with Austria, and the New Imperial Federation paths. I'm not really a fan of the German/Austrian pan-european stuff usually, but even the new tree for that looks sick!

So what is everyone drawn towards, or if you've already played it, which paths have you found fun?

What is everyones nation that they keep going back to over and over, and never get bored? And why?

Mine is EASILY the National French State (Sand France). Out of my top 10 longest playthroughs, at least 5 of them are from Sand France.

The amount of paths it has that ALL feel so so so different from each other is crazy, and the fact every path has like 3 split off paths as well is amazing. It also has so much content in terms of events, decisions, and pre/post liberation content. I find it genuinely so crazy how much this nation has, and in my opinion, it is like the only 2nd Weltkrieg nation that has the best and most interesting content building up to the war, during the war, and EASILY the best content after the war.

Germany, Austria, Union of Britain, Commune of France all just kinda have minimal content for such major nations in the Kaiserredux world, which is sad. Of course, Russia has a lot of content, especially Commie Russia. And America does too, but for the USA, I only really play it to get a civil war nation to play. I never really play it to retain the USA, but it definitely is an amazing nation.

But overall, Sand France is just such a fire nation. I've played almost every path at least once, but the replayability of even the paths I have completed is what keeps making me want to go back. The longest path I found was the Napoleonic route which led me to not only finish in like 1960 somehow (and that's not even trying to dominate the entire world), just purely through the amount of content. Like how you have the 2nd Weltkrieg, then the 3rd Weltkrieg because of Napoleon being able to claim a bunch of eastern european states. Then after that, the Entente booted me out of the faction which led to the Eighth War of the Coalition. Like it was just amazing. But then it also has my personal favourite path for Sand France, De La Roque, which I found to be a surprisingly wholesome path for a fairly controversial ideologue.

And now I am preparing to finally play Petain's France for the first ever time. I only need to play this path, Democratic Sand France, and then I will have played them all. But like it said, the replayability is sooooooo good here.

So, what is your nation that you can't get enough of? And why?

Faction Renaming Mod creating great RP!

Following the initial success of the Internationale in the 2nd Weltkrieg, a couple caucasus nations and Russia got a nation spirit of something like "Anti-International Pact" giving them a defense bonus against France.

So it gave me the idea to rename the boring "Moscow Accord" to the "Anti-Internationale Pact" full of the remnants of nations that have been destroyed or damaged by the Internationale. Such as the Ottomans losing their Empire to our influence, and Japan losing the war in China due to Internationale Intervention. Due to the Entente and South America being relatively untouched by us, however, they have opted out of joining this Pact. And with Russia being the last remaining major power left on the Eurasian continents, they have headed this alliance.

What is your favourite 2ACW path? (And why?)

For me it was Pershing's New England, then having him step down for elections and the Federalist Party winning them.

The process from start to finish was easily the most immersive and fun 2ACW path I've ever played, and then having the Federalists win, so the 2ACW essentially circled right back to the party that Washington aligned the most with felt very full circle. Then, I elected a younger candidate than the past presidents to kind of signal a new leaf being turned (hence the country name change too).

What about everyone else?
