Is Grote a decent guitar brand?

I'm just wondering if Grote is a decent guitar brand. I bought a LP style Grote a couple of months ago, but had played it until a week ago. That's when I realized how heavy it was. It has to be the heaviest guitar I've ever handled. Besides the strings being being super thick, it looks and plays nicely. If anyone has any info on that brand I'd love to hear about it.

Flying with a guitar

I've never flown with a guitar before. I've always wondered how that would be. All of my cases are soft padded cases. I'm concerned that my guitar would get banged up considering how the baggage handlers throw the checked baggage around the way they do. Will they allow you to take it as a carry-on? For those who've flown with their guitar(s), how was it?

Multiple Guitars

There are lots of posts of people displaying their guitar collection. As a guitar enthusiast I love seeing them. The question I always have is do people with multiple guitars play all of them (i.e., playing one for only for gigs, one for only practice, etc.?) I'm just curious.

Question for guitar players

I'm new to the guitar and I'm struggling with unintentionally touching other strings while I'm playing chords. Is there a secret to remedy this?
