Can you please give me your thoughts in these situations?

If an acquaintance came up to you and said, “I had a crush on you.” *keyword: had* What would be your response for the following situations?

1. You have/had a mutual crush back but never pursued.

2. You never liked that person in that way but they’re a good friend.
