Beak Healing Advice

Hello! I am here to ask you fine turtle lovers for some advice on this map turtle's beak.

Background
This turtle had a new rock introduced into his habitat and shortly after this he had a large broken section of his lower beak chipped. He has always been in an enclosure. It was advised that he should recover as long as the turtle kept eating. It has been a few months since this injury, and he is always happy to eat when it is feeding time! Food includes medley of pellets, dried shrimp, dried worms, and dried berries. I have read that harder food may need to be introduced into the diet that would be more abrasive to help with beak health. The UVB bulb was ~6-8months old when it just recently burnt out and replaced. He is around 7 or 8 years old.

Question
Does it seem like the beak is healing properly? The sections where the upper beak overlaps the lower beak on the corners of the mouth have been a concern.

Thanks for any help!🐢❤️
